Internationale Bibliographie zur Deutschen Klassik 1750-1850. Folge 39 1992: Mit Nachträgen zu früheren Jahren

According to the journal'Germanistik'the bibliography is the most comprehensive and reliable specialist bibliography on German literature from the German Enlightenment to the Romantic period. It records about 5,000 publications annually, in German and foreign languages: monographs, contributions in collections and journals, university publications, commemorative volumes and sound recordings. The material is clearly arranged and easy to use, consisting of three sections: a section on collections of texts and general publications, an alphabetically arranged section on publications by and on individual authors, and a review section arranged alphabetically according to the work reviewed. A combined index of names and subjects completes the bibliography. For the authors of the German Classical Age included here, both primary and secondary literature has been recorded.

Die Internationale Bibliographie zur deutschen Klassik 1750-1850 ist laut "Germanistik" das umfassendste und verlässlichste bibliographische Hilfsmittel zur Literatur und Literaturgeschichte der Klassik und Romantik. Sie verzeichnet jährlich rund 5.000 deutsch- und fremdsprachige Veröffentlichungen: Monographien, Beiträge aus Zeitschriften und Sammelbänden, Hochschulschriften und Tonträger. Das Titelmaterial ist übersichtlich und leicht benutzbar in drei Teile gegliedert: in einen systematischen allgemeinen Teil, einen alphabetischen Autorenteil und ein Verzeichnis der Rezensionen bei alphabetischer Abfolge der rezensierten Werke. Ein kombiniertes Namen- und Sachregister vervollständigt die Bibliographie. Bei den erfassten Autoren der klassischen Epoche wird sowohl die Primär- als auch die Sekundärliteratur verzeichnet.
