International Balkan Congress: Security Approaches of International Organizations in the 21st Century and Security of the Balkans

Kocaeli Universitesi Yayinlari, Kocaeli, 2011, 621 p. The International Balkan Congress is organized on April 28-29, 2011 at Kocaeli University’s Umuttepe Campus, Baki Komsuoglu Culture and Convention Center with the purpose of strengthening of security and stability in the Balkans, adoption and spread of new security approaches and focusing on new directions regarding security in the Balkans. The International Balkan Congress has thoroughly studied the theme of Security Approaches of the International Organizations in the 21st Century and Security of the Balkans. 47 papers are presented, and the Congress was carried out with great success. The Congress is regarded as an important contribution to the cooperation between our universities, nations and countries. Intentions on creating new opportunities for cooperation and joint projects are declared.
