Un libro llamativo no solo por su sinopsis, sino por su formato y su narración tan especial. No me decidía a comprarlo, pero al final mi curiosidad ganó la partida y lo compré. Os aseguro que vale la pena pagar cada céntimo. \*Kerenza IV\* es un planeta fuera de la zona regulada, muy lejos de los planetas habitados, donde instalaron un asentamiento ilegal para explotar y conseguir uno de los materiales más codiciados, el Hermio. \*Una compañía rival\* se tomará la justicia por su mano, invadiendo y destruyendo todo lo que encuentren a su paso. \*Solo unos pocos habitantes llegarán a salvo a las tres naves de evacuación: el Alexander, la Hypathia y la Copernicus\*. Cuando empecé este libro me dije, un libro escrito de forma epistolar de ciencia ficción, ¿cómo demonios voy a entrar en la historia? Fue \*muy arriesgado\* escribir un libro el de ciencia ficción de esta forma, pero fue todo un acierto. No solo te metes de lleno en la historia, sino que \*te hace partícipe de ella.\* \*Dejadme deciros que \*la edición del libro es maravillosa.\* Si lo vais a ojear y no lo habéis leído, cuidado, podéis toparos muy fácilmente con spoilers indeseados. Hay páginas con una sola frase, otras cuyo texto crea un dibujo y páginas en negro que representan cosas en concreto. Me encantó ir descubriendo las palabrotas. En serio, al estar censuradas era como un juego ir adivinando qué palabrota incluía el texto. Fuejodidamente divertido. \*/“El hecho de que la vida nos cambia forma parte de estar vivo. La gente que nos rodea, los sucesos que vivimos, todo ello nos moldea.”/\* \*Kady Grant,\* es una chica normal de diecisiete años que consiguió escapar con vida de la invasión de Kerenza. No se rinde pese a que todos los pronósticos vayan en su contra. Siempre intentará buscar un modo de seguir adelante, buscando pequeños atisbos de esperanza que la lleven a seguir luchando por lo que realmente importa. Toma decisiones demasiado difíciles que hicieron que sienta un profundo respeto por su actitud. Se ha convertido rápidamente en uno de mis \*personajes femeninos favoritos \*por toda su fuerza, su humor y su valentía.\* \*Ezra Mason\* también consiguió salir de Kerenza, y será reclutado por la AUT por falta de personal a bordo. Si Kady se lanza al peligro de cabeza y sin miedo, Ezra primero se meará en los pantalones de miedo y luego hará lo que tenga que hacer. Es un personaje tan divertido y sarcástico... Ha sido desternillante en muchos momentos leer sus comentarios. Al mismo tiempo y a pesar de ser más racional y no tan impulsivo como Kady, hará lo que tenga que hacer por salvar a los demás aunque se ponga a sí mismo en serio peligro. También es valiente, a su manera, fuerte, decidido, responsable, inteligente y muy dulce. Hay demasiados puntos de vista en este libro y demasiados personajes como para nombrarlos a todos, pero quiero hablaros de dos en especial. Byron, uno de los mejores informáticos de toda la flota fue un personaje que me encantó demasiado. Su papel es más que fundamental y me encantó su lado protector. Y por último, pero no menos importante, \*AIDAN\*. No voy a entrar en detalles, no voy a decir nada sobre él, los que hayáis leído el libro seguro que me entendéis, porque es mejor que lo descubráis por vosotros mismos, pero... ¡ha sido lo mejor del libro con diferencia! Me encanta demasiado AIDAN y llegó a tocarme el corazón. /\*“Ella es el catalizador. \*/ /\* Ella es el caos. \*/ /\*Puedo ver por qué él la ama.” \*/\*/ "La trama es \*brutal. \*Desde las primeras páginas, y a pesar de estar escrito de forma epistolar, entras en una vorágine de adrenalina y tensión. Durante toda la lectura están sucediendo cosas muy importantes para la historia que están cargadas de acción, por lo que en todo momento estas deseamos saber más. Toda la tensión que te produce la lectura se ve cortada de golpe por comentarios o hechos desternillantes. En serio, en este libro pasé de estar comiéndome las uñas a reírme a carcajadas. Literalmente. Nunca, en toda mi vida, había leído un libro de este género que me hiciera reír tanto. Me hizo llorar, no pensé que lo haría, pero el final me partió el corazón. También quiero avisar que hay escenas un poco escabrosas. No esperaba esa brutalidad, esa sangría y menos de esta forma, aunque fue un plus, en mi opinión, para darle un punto redondo a la historia. La parte romántica me encantó. Tuvo la dosis de amor suficiente para darle un punto dulce y tierno, sin ser el tema protagonista y sin perder la diversión y la tensión. Y por supuestos, no podemos olvidarnos de todo el suspense y el misterio que envuelve todo lo que está ocurriendo en las naves. \*El ritmo es muy rápido.\* Este libro es demasiado adictivo. Además, la forma en la que está escrito, aún hace que lo leas mucho más deprisa. Devoré este libro, a pesar de sus casi 600 páginas no llego a durarme ni dos días y eso que me obligué a parar la lectura porque no quería terminarlo tan pronto. \*Los giros argumentales han sido apasionantes.\* Hay cosas que más o menos puedes ver como se van a ir desarrollando, casi acertado por completo, pero otras que son imposibles verlas de lo metida que estás en el momento y en la trama. Hubo uno en especial, si lo habéis leído sabréis a cual me refiero, que me dejó atónita y agonizante. Ha sido realmente genial como han llevado toda la historia de esta forma, que no es fácil, y hacerle eso giros que son endiabladamente buenos. \*El final fue perfecto.\* No puedo decir más, solo ponerme en pie y aplaudir a los autores por semejante brillantez. Hacia mucho tiempo que un libro no me dejaba con tantas ganas de leer el siguiente y al mismo tiempo, con tantas tantísimas ganas de empezar a leer el libro de nuevo.
