Il folle, mirabolante e tragicomico viaggio in Scozia di Rudolf Hess

Rudolf Hess, importante gerarca nazista ed all’epoca delfino di Hitler, scontento dell’isolamento politico al quale era soggetto negli ultimi anni, cercò un modo per riscattarsi. Per tornare di nuovo in auge ed importante agli occhi di Hitler, Hess ideò così un folle piano. Per ottenere ciò, provando a rendersi utile, Hess fece di tutto per cercare di stipulare un accordo “segreto” di pace con gli inglesi, all’epoca governati dal Primo Ministro Winston Churchill. Spinto dalla sua follia e vivendo in un mondo tutto suo, il goffo Hess decise d’intraprendere così un volo in solitaria diretto in Scozia, pur di incontrare chi sperava che l’avrebbe aiutato. Ma, una volta giunto fin lì, Hess si trovò coinvolto in serie di bizzarri avvenimenti, di stralunate peripezie segnate dagli equivoci e di mirabolanti avventure a dir poco folli, come folle era la sua mente.
