Humboldt und andere Mythen : Zur Kritik des deutschen Bildungs- und Kulturnationalismus

Die deutsche Bildungswissenschaft hat sich trotz der Kontinuität des Rassismus und rechten Terrors in Deutschland nur marginal mit der Komplizenschaft zwischen ,Bildung' und ,Nation' beschäftigt. Im vorliegenden Buch wird der Mythos der Bildung, der Nation, der Bildungsnation detranszendentalisiert. Die Autorin untersucht ,Bildung' und ,Nation' als zentrale Begriffe des (neo)kolonialen Referenzsystems in ihrer Verschränkung. Verschiedene Perspektiven (postkoloniale, hegemonietheoretische, kulturanthropologische, psychoanalytische) beleuchten und historisieren die ,(Bildungs)Nation' als eine andauernde Fiktion mit realen Folgen.
