The humanoids known as Tigroids patrolled the space surrounding their home planet of Oterosan in the Four-Claw, a long-range interceptor with a crew of six. It retained the maneuverability and footprint of a smaller craft but had the punch of a heavier vessel. The Tigroids and Ursoids had been conducting an underground war with each other for as long as anyone could remember, despite the marginally open relations between the two planets.
