Heidegger: A Critical Reader (1992) gathers the ideas of English-language philosophers who have frequently been influence by French philosophers who had Heidegger on their minds. A German perspective is included in a translation of a preface written by Habermas for a book about Heidegger and the Nazi era. Martin Heidegger is known for rethinking the western understanding of what it means to be (a thing, a person, an institution, etc).
