The only former version of the dictionary was published in 1955.The dictionary contains more than 25 thousand words explained in both languages. Furthermore, it details the guidelines for using the publication and provides a glossary of abbreviations and definitions in Georgian and Ossetian.The editor-in-chief of the dictionary is Professor Naira Bepievi.
