Gub-Gub's Book, An Encyclopaedia of Food (1932)-- This companion volume to the Dolittle stories stars Gub-Gub the pig, who tells food-related stories to the other Puddleby animals, a la Sheherezade, over the course of 10 fireside evenings. Tommy Stubbins identifies himself in the text as editor, but the Doctor does not appear.
