After the death of Wendelin Foerster, Harvard University acquired the papers and notes for his frequently announced edition of the Gliglois. These are of capital importance because a mediaeval manuscript of the romance no longer exists, the unique one having been destroyed in the fire at the National Library of Turin in 1904.
