Pp. 165-183 contain the translation of two lectures delivered in 1943 outlining plans for a research project on antisemitism under the sponsorship of the American Jewish Committee and the Institute for Social Research at Columbia University. Declares that effective resistance to antisemitism depends on a scientific understanding of the mechanisms of antisemitic propaganda and the psychological needs to which it appeals. Pp. 587-592 contain protocols of discussions between Horkheimer and Adorno during their joint work on the chapter "Elemente des Antisemitismus" in "Dialektik der Aufklärung".
