But during summer vacations and school holidays, he drove garbage trucks in Chicagoland to make ends meet. Now he has collected the stories of the garbio-- drunks, corrupt cops, union goons-- and yes, rats as big as cats. Working the city streets and alleys in the wee hours of the morning, garbios faced every form of lowlife - drunks, prostitutes, corrupt cops, union goons, mobsters, and yes, RATS as big as cats.
