European Food and Nutrition Policies in Action (WHO Regional Publications European Series)
معرفی کتاب «European Food and Nutrition Policies in Action (WHO Regional Publications European Series)» نوشتهٔ E. Helsing, N. Milio، منتشرشده توسط نشر World Health Organization در سال 1998. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
A multi-authored collection of reports on efforts to improve European dietary practices through national food and nutrition policies. Noting that good nutrition depends on far more than an abundant supply of food, these reports explore the complex issues - from farm subsidies and pricing policies to food labeling and legislation - faced by policy-makers concerned about the growth of diet-related chronic diseases. Particular attention is given to the challenge of altering entrenched government agricultural and food production policies that remain driven by an outmoded concern with the prevention of nutrient deficiencies.
