معرفی کتاب «Empirical Direction in Design and Analysis (Volume in the Scientific Psychology Series)» نوشتهٔ Norman H. Anderson، منتشرشده توسط نشر Routledge در سال 2001. این کتاب در فرمت epub، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است. «Empirical Direction in Design and Analysis (Volume in the Scientific Psychology Series)» در دستهٔ بدون دستهبندی قرار دارد.
This text is intended for use in graduate level experimental design, research methods, or statistics courses in the applied social sciences and as a reference for professional researchers. Anderson's (U. of California, San Diego) approach is based upon a hierarchy of six considerations in empirical investigation: conceptual framework, phenomena, behavior, measurement, design, and statistical inference. Throughout the text, emphasis is placed upon the development of conceptual and empirical applications of various methods of design and analysis. Computational formulas and null hypothesis testing are de-emphasized. A sampling of topics includes factorial design, interactionist theories, analysis of covariance, multiple regression, signal detection theory, and principles and tactics for writing.
