When Northern Ireland's Fire Fighters are called to two unusual incidents on the same weekend, suspicions are aroused that they might not be what they first seem. Marc Craig is consulted and as he reluctantly becomes involved, exhausted from recent cases and desperately hoping for a quiet week, the scenario developing in front of him makes him call in his squad. With events growing more unlikely by the day and links developing with Scotland and eastern Europe, the case leads to one man that they've never encountered before and another they most definitely have.
