This book contains a new version of the scroll that represents an early revision of the Septuagint toward a closer correspondence with the Hebrew text of the Bible. After an extensive introduction, the volume provides the text with and without reconstructions, notes on palaeography and reconstructions, and a commentary on translation technique, orthographic peculiarities, and textual relations. This volume is the first in the series to present a long Greek text (large sections of the minor prophets). The version in the scroll represents an early revision of the Septuagint towards a closer correspondence with the Hebrew text of the Bible. An introduction, notes and criticism are included.
