Overview: When Daniel comes out to his family, he's forced to leave home in shame and humiliation. He just wants to be normal and fit in with his cool friends, but it's hard to pretend to be straight every minute of every day, especially when drugs and alcohol are involved. And when a guy who pretends to be a vampire falls in love him, "normal" takes on a whole new meaning. But Roderick isn't pretending, and all of a sudden being gay is the least of Daniel's worries. Roderick has a dangerous enemy who will exploit any weakness to destroy Roderick. And blond-haired, green-eyed Daniel, it turns out, makes for one hell of an adorable weakness.
