Aus insgesamt 865 nominierten Produkten wählten die Juroren aus Industrie, Handel, Design und Medien 25 Produkte von besonders herausragender Gestaltungsqualität aus, für die fünf Preise in Gold und 20 in Silber vergeben wurden. Der Katalog stellt zum einen ausführlich die Preisträger sowie ca. 150 weitere nominierte Produkte vor. Eingeführt wird die Publikation mit einem Grußwort des Bundeswirtschaftsministers.
