Is there any connection between the chilling discovery made by John Marshall, research scientist of Glasgow University's Department of Cybernetic Studies, and his inexplicable death shortly afterwards while studying megalithic remains on the Island of Arran? His widow things so and persuades their friend Roger Arnott, who knows the island well, to overcome his reluctance to visit its shores again.
