Nicki has wanted to be a television presenter since she was old enough to watch one. So sheвЂTMs excited when an opportunity opens up at the television company where she works as a researcher. SheвЂTMs less excited when she discovers that sheвЂTMs up against Alva – the office ice queen whose monthly clothing budget could feed most families for a year. SheвЂTMs even less excited to find out that itвЂTMs a popularity contest – theyвЂTMre both going to film segments which will be voted on by viewers. Nicki has no money, and in order to compete in the visual medium of television sheвЂTMll have to make her own outfits. Which wouldnвЂTMt be such a problem if she could actually sew… No doubt sheвЂTMs going to make an impression, but will it be for all the right reasons or all the wrong ones?
