Dark Sky

Following on from the events of Dark Run, Ichabod Drift and the crew of the Keiko sign on for a smuggling job to a mining planet. When the skies are closed in by ferocious weather, the miners, badly treated for years by the corporations, stage a rebellion. Split into two groups, one with the authorities, one with the rebels, and cut off from each other due to a communication blackout, both halves of the Keiko's crew support their respective sides in the conflict, not realising they are fighting themselves For the crew of the Keiko, their stay at the Grand House casino on New Samara was supposed to be a well-deserved rest. It didn't last.Captain Ichabod Drift promised that the side-trip to the mining planet Uragan would be a quick in and out - a data retrieval job then back to the tables.
