Da Adamo ad Abramo, o, L'errare dell'uomo : lettura narrativa e antropologica della Genesi : I. : Gen 1,1-12,4

On aborde souvent les premiers chapitres de la Gense en " pices dtaches " privilgiant les pages clbres : Adam et ve, Can et Abel, le dluge, la tour de Babel... Ici, Andr Wnin prend en compte Gense 1,112,4 comme un ensemble littraire unifi et en donne une lecture narrative, articule avec une interprtation thologique et anthropologique soucieuse d'expliciter le lien troit avec la suite immdiate : l'appel d'Abraham. Lecture exigeante de construction du sens, d'une vrit qui est la fois celle du texte et celle du lecteur. L'auteur prend au srieux le caractre mythique de ce rcit une histoire se raconte, celle des premiers pas des humains entre eux et avec Dieu, histoire complexe o sont visites tour tour les grandes questions de la vie que le texte biblique voque avec force : la relation homme-femme, la violence, la mort, la vie en socit, le rapport la transcendance... Ce dbut du livre de la Gense raconte avec beaucoup de rigueur et de prcision comment des choix malheureux poss par les humains mettent en pril le projet divin d'un monde d'alliance o l'harmonie permet l'panouissement de toute vie grce la bndiction du Crateur. Mais dans les impasses, Dieu se tient ct d'eux pour leur rouvrir un chemin de vie, sans violer leur libert ni les priver de leur responsabilit. -- The first chapters in Genesis are frequently read as a collection of separate texts, some better known than Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, the Flood, the Tower of Babel ... Here, Andr Wnin treats Genesis 1, 1 12, 4 as a unified literary ensemble and provides a narrative reading, articulated with a theological and anthropological interpretation and attentive to the link with the following the Call of Abraham. He reads with exigency, seeking the construction of meaning and the truth that is both that of the text and of the reader. The author takes the mythical aspect of this narrative seriously. A story that recounts the first tentative relations among humans themselves, and between them and God; a complex tale in which all the great questions about life, so passionately evoked by the Bible, are addressed in relations between men and women, violence, death, existence in society, man's relation with the transcendental... The beginning of the Book of Genesis describes, with great rigour and precision, how those unfortunate choices effected by humans imperilled the Divine plan for a covenantal world in which harmony would encourage the flowering of all life, thanks to the blessing of the Creator. But when they are face against the wall, God is there beside them to reopen the road to life, without either violating their liberty or relieving them of their responsibility.
