Cruel Pleasures

The Duke of Loughmore is an avid fan of the female boxing matches that were commonplace in 19th century London. After witnessing a particularly fine bout he decides to hold an evening of 'Games' at Lady Abigail's – the brothel he owns – and in the course of the evening a chain of events begin that will affect the lives of many people. He decides to take some time off at his home; 'Warhurst Priory' and organise a rather more select gathering of gentlemen for more extreme forms of entertainment. While he is doing that no fewer than three new women are presented to him, each with a very different reason for needing his attentions. With his customary energy and zeal he sets about fulfilling their needs – and at the same time slakes his own carnal appetites! And slowly, more and more people are drawn towards the gathering that will present a feast of cruel pleasures.
