This second installment of the supplement to volume CIL IX edited by Marco Buonocore includes – for the first time with photos – complete addenda and corrigenda for the inscriptions edited by Theodor Mommsen in 1883. The book documents about 670 newly discovered Latin inscriptions from the Regio Italiae quarta (Marrucini, Paeligni, Vestini) edited according to modern conventions, and includes a general map as well as a short index. Jahrhundert bekannten und 1883 von Theodor Mommsen edierten Inschriften, hier jetzt erstmals in Gegenüberstellung mit Fotos, abschließend einen Kurzindex und eine Übersichtskarte. Das Gebiet der Abruzzen, u. a. mit den heutigen Städten Chieti, Sulmo und L'Aquila, besitzt reiches epigraphisches Quellenmaterial von Bedeutung u. a. für die Kultur- und Sozialgeschichte des Römischen Imperiums. Diesem und dem 2018 erschienenen ersten Faszikel folgen drei weitere, deren fünfter die Indizes zum gesamten Supplement enthalten wird.
