It is now generally recognised that corporations have ethical obligations that go beyond their legal responsibilities and affect how they ought to approach their legal responsibilities. This book looks at the debates surrounding corporate governance, especially as this bears on issues dealt with in previous titles in the series. The study of corporate governance is a relatively modern development, with significant attention devoted to the subject only during the last fifty years.
