Computational mesomechanics of composites : numerical analysis of the effect of microstructures of composites on their strength and damage resistance
معرفی کتاب «Computational mesomechanics of composites : numerical analysis of the effect of microstructures of composites on their strength and damage resistance» نوشتهٔ Dr.?Habil. Leon Mishnaevsky(auth.)، منتشرشده توسط نشر John Wiley & Sons در سال 2008. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
Mechanical properties of composite materials can be improved by tailoring their microstructures. Optimal microstructures of composites, which ensure desired properties of composite materials, can be determined in computational experiments. The subject of this book is the computational analysis of interrelations between mechanical properties (e.g., strength, damage resistance stiffness) and microstructures of composites. The methods of mesomechanics of composites are reviewed, and applied to the modelling of the mechanical behaviour of different groups of composites. Individual chapters are devoted to the computational analysis of the microstructure- mechanical properties relationships of particle reinforced composites, functionally graded and particle clusters reinforced composites, interpenetrating phase and unidirectional fiber reinforced composites, and machining tools materials.Content: Chapter 1 Composites (pages 1–12): Chapter 2 Mesoscale Level in the Mechanics of Materials (pages 13–36): Chapter 3 Damage and Failure of Materials: Concepts and Methods of Modeling (pages 37–64): Chapter 4 Microstructure–Strength Relationships of Composites: Concepts and Methods of Analysis (pages 65–113): Chapter 5 Computational Experiments in the Mechanics of Materials: Concepts and Tools (pages 115–128): Chapter 6 Numerical Mesomechanical Experiments: Analysis of the Effect of Microstructures of Materials on the Deformation and Damage Resistance (pages 129–150): Chapter 7 Graded Particle Reinforced Composites: Effect of the Parameters of Graded Microstructures on the Deformation and Damage (pages 151–178): Chapter 8 Particle Clustering in Composites: Effect of Clustering on the Mechanical Behavior and Damage Evolution (pages 179–195): Chapter 9 Interpenetrating Phase Composites: Numerical Simulations of Deformation and Damage (pages 197–213): Chapter 10 Fiber Reinforced Composites: Numerical Analysis of Damage Initiation and Growth (pages 215–237): Chapter 11 Contact Damage and Wear of Composite Tool Materials: Micro–Macro Relationships (pages 239–263): Chapter 12 Future Fields: Computational Mesomechanics and Nanomaterials (pages 265–268): Chapter 13 Conclusions (pages 269–270): "The book presents the concept and methods for the computational analysis of interrelationships between mechanical properties (e.g strength, damage resistance, and stiffness) and microstructures of composite materials. The methods of mesomechanics of composites are reviewed and applied to the modeling of the mechanical behavior of different groups of composites. Individual chapters are devoted to the computational analysis of the microstructure-mechanical properties relationships of particle-reinforced composites, functionally graded and particle cluster reinforced composites, interpenetrating phase and unidirectional fiber reinforced composites, and machining tools materials." "The book is aimed at scientists and professionals working in the areas of the mechanics of materials and materials science as well at graduate and postgraduate students."--Jacket
