The fact that the Trinity cannot be demonstrated by philosophical arguments, does not, rightly considered, disprove the teaching of Catholic theologians that all creatures contain some vestige of the Trinity, and that, in addition thereto, the pure spirits, and man who is endowed with reason, “represent the Trinity by way of image.”1
