Originally published in 1929, the topic of this book, then, is the Ladd-Franklin theory of colour. Dr. Ladd-Franklin has been the first (and is still too nearly the only) physiologist to consider colour always in the light of the development of the colour-sense. This aspect of the subject is frequently reproduced in the present volume.
