Philip “PK” Klein is an FBI agent with a secret he’s been keeping from the Bureau: he did not murder his sister when he was seventeen. Recruited for his ability to make objects disappear into the past, and later reel them back to the present, PK is part of a classified team of powered agents. Their job is to investigate crimes too messy, or too paranormal, for the average detective. When a series of murders is pinned on a rogue artificial intelligence, PK’s unit is ordered to investigate. Is it a thinking machine executing its own inventors? Or is there a new powered player on the scene? Failure to solve the mystery will force PK to divulge his ultimate secret to the Bureau.
