C*[star]-Algebras: General Theory of C*-Algebras 3

The general properties of C*-algebras are presented in Volume 3. The first two volumes contain results of "Banach-type" needed in Vol. 3. The Hilbert spaces and the representations of C*-algebras are presented in Volume 4. This volume also contains an ample study of Hilbert spaces. Volume 5 is dedicated to some selected topics: L*-spaces, applications to linear (ordinary and partial) differential equations, von Neumann algebras, and C*-algebras generated by groups (including the Clifford algebras).
