Broken Ties

After meeting with the vampire Master, Helene is disappointed when their meeting ends; especially after recapping how her Sire ridicules him, hoping to incite the vampire into action, including granting her protection inside his clan. Instead, he sends her to a chamber to await her demise. Helene lets pass telling Gregori that she is more then just a werewolf, since being changed into something far greater. A merciless Master, Gregori is dubious about Helenes story. Yet, she has provided him a means to avenge his former mates betrayal. Nora, now Master of Helenes clan, bonded then left him and to make matters worse she survives his anger, forever a constant painful reminder. Outside of that, hes amused by Helenes show of bravery, questioning his authority without fear, even willing to give herself to him in exchange for sanctuary. Two days later, Gregori enters Helenes chamber only to encounter a beast that equals his superiority.
