There was a time when a woman who dared vote in a U.S. election could be found guilty & sentenced without a trial; when it was illegal for a doctor to discuss contraception with a woman — even if childbirth meant certain death; when women were routinely fired because men wanted their jobs. While all three women — Susan B. Anthony, Margaret Sanger & Betty Friedan lived in different ages, & fought for different aspects of womens rights, together they form the heart of the feminist revolution. Their lives & achievements not only reveal the history of that revolution, but show how our society has evolved with it. An exploration of the women's movement, with biographies of Susan B.
