This work analyzes the development of a company famous for its single- and twin-engined aeroplanes, its executive aircraft and commuter liners. Inevitably much stress is laid upon the Beech 17 staggerwing, which commands worldwide interest, and the Beech 18 which was produced for a longer period than any other aircraft type.
