معرفی کتاب «Barton. Radar System Analysis and Modeling» نوشتهٔ Honorius of Thebes، Joseph Peterson (translator) و David Knox Barton، منتشرشده توسط نشر Artech House Publishers در سال 2005. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
A thorough update to the classic Modern Radar Systems Analysis, this reference is a comprehensive and cohesive introduction to radar systems design and performance estimation. It offers professionals the knowledge they need to specify, evaluate, or apply radar technology in civilian or military systems. This unique resource provides radar engineers with time-saving and effective techniques for their work in such defense-related applications as weapon systems design and electronic warfare. The book presents accurate detection range equations for realistically estimating radar performance in a variety of practical situations. As radar systems evolve, designers, engineers, and analysts can turn to this book again and again to calculate and evaluate systems performance to keep up with the latest advances in radar technology. CD-ROM Included! The accompanying disc contains example calculations, exercise problems, and analysis programs written in MathCad 11 and HTML. Barton, a well known specialist who has published widely in the field, has written a complete update to the 1988 Modern Radar System Analysis (also published by Artech House). An accompanying CD-ROM contains most of the illustrations and examples from the book using Mathcad software (an HTML version is included for each program). The fundamental theory of radar range equation is described in detail in the first chapter. Subsequent chapters describe the theory of target detection, targets and interference, radar antennas, waveforms and signal processing, and radar propagation, followed by chapters of application in radar surveillance, radar tracking and measurement, and the radar loss budget. Appendices containing problems and a list of references are provided with each chapter. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
"A thorough update to the Artech House classic Modern Radar System Analysis, this reference is a comprehensive and cohesive introduction to radar systems design and performance estimation. Written in clear, easy-to-understand language, it offers the knowledge needed to specify, evaluate, or apply radar technology in civilian or military systems. Packed with over 610 equations and more than 260 illustrations."--Jacket A radar is an electromagnetic system for detection, location, and sometimes for recognition of target objects, which operates by transmitting electromagnetic signals, receiving echoes from target objects within its volume of coverage, and extracting location and other information from the echo signals [1, p. 854].
