Very insightful insightful account of the rigid obsessive-compulsive and dogmatic personality. Shapiro, author of several great books on human behavior from a psychiatric viewpoint, is a good writer. Great for professionals and laymen as well. Everyone in the writing craft who attempts to explain why people do what they do would benefit from this book HE PROBLEM I wish to consider here is a central one in psychiatry.
