Many Christian with 'strong faith', including leaders and pastors, have the false idea that Psychology and Theology are not compatible. There are even those that treat Psychology as a demonic science or something that we should not believe, when in reality the problem is not with belief but with knowledge. Therefore, it is not surprising that many hurting people that come to church looking for help get frustrated and do not return.
