A Necessary Hell

A severed hand is found in a field in Germany. The consequences will reach from war-torn Afghanistan to the highest levels of government. Ex-army officer Harry Brown has been conducting a disaster planning exercise at an airport in northern Germany. On his way there one morning he passes a car being driven by single mum Ingrid Weber. Glancing after her in his rearview mirror, Harry sees her car swerve and crash. When he discovers what caused her to crash was a grisly human body part, all the old training and instincts kick in. Before he knows it, he and Ingrid are on a trail that leads them ever deeper into a quagmire of greed and corruption as they begin to piece together a chilling chain of events. Soon it seems that everyone wants them dead. Anything to slam a lid on their enquiry and put an end to it, and to them.
