A Clinical Guide to Fibre Reinforced Composites (FRCs) in Dentistry
معرفی کتاب «A Clinical Guide to Fibre Reinforced Composites (FRCs) in Dentistry» نوشتهٔ Pekka Vallittu, Mutlu Özcan، منتشرشده توسط نشر Woodhead Publishing Ltd در سال 2017. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
Traditional dental materials such as metals and ceramics have a number of disadvantages such as cost and the significant damage caused in grinding to make space for such reconstructions. Fiber-reinforced composites (FRCs) are a novel group of dental materials characterized by fibrous fillers that are being increasingly used in place of traditional prosthodontic materials. They allow fabrication of minimally invasive, lightweight, durable and biocompatible restorations. This book will provide clinicians and students with theoretical and clinical guidelines to use the FRCs for dental applications. The book begins with an introduction to the fundamentals of FRCs in dentistry. Further chapters cover the treatment possibilities, fabrication and application procedures of FRCs, followed by information on care and maintenance. Explores the mechanism of function of fibre-reinforced composites Presents comprehensive information on the expanding field of fibre-reinforced composites and their increasing use in dentistry Content: Front-matter,Copyright,List of Contributors,Preface,Rationale,IntroductionEntitled to full textPart I: Fundamentals of fiber-reinforced composites in dentistry1 - Key requirements for dental FRCs, Pages 3-10, Pekka Vallittu 2 - Types of FRCs used in dentistry, Pages 11-34, Pekka Vallittu, Jukka Matinlinna 3 - Structural properties of dental FRC structures, Pages 35-56, Pekka Vallittu, Akikazu Shinya 4 - An overview of fixed dental prostheses and the dynamic treatment approach, Pages 59-64, Pekka Vallittu, Mutlu Özcan 5 - Fabrication of indirect fiber reinforced resin composite (FRC) dental devices, Pages 65-77, Mutlu Özcan, Leila Perea-Lowery, Pekka Vallittu 6 - Tooth as an adhesive substrate for fiber-reinforced composites, Pages 79-96, Arzu Tezvergil-Mutluay 7 - Root canal anchoring systems, Pages 97-109, Johanna Tanner, Anna-Maria Le Bell-Rönnlöf, Pekka Vallittu 8 - Periodontal and trauma splints using fiber reinforced resin composites, Pages 111-130, Mutlu Özcan, Ovul Kumbuloglu 9 - Fillings and core build-ups, Pages 131-163, Filip Keulemans, Sufyan Garoushi, Lippo Lassila 10 - Removable devices and facial epithesis prostheses, Pages 165-185, Rosita Kantola, Hemmo Kurunmäki, Pekka Vallittu 11 - Orthodontic retainers, Pages 187-202, Andrea Scribante, Maria Francesca Sfondrini 12 - Longevity of fiber-reinforced resin composite (FRC) fixed dental prosthesis (FDP) and fabrication of direct FRC FDPs, Pages 203-210, Mutlu Özcan 13 - Maintenance care and repair of dental restorations using fiber-reinforced resin composites, Pages 211-223, Mutlu Özcan Index, Pages 225-231
